CD Sales

The wholesale price from the distributor is $8. BluJazz takes $4 and our artists get $4 for each CDs sold through our distributor.

BluJazz pays all shipping costs to the distributor.

We are on a 90-day pay cycle for our distribution invoices and it can take an additional 30 days to receive payment.

For BluJazz website sales ($10/CD), BluJazz gets $5 and the artist gets $5. BluJazz covers the cost of sending CDs to online shoppers.

If an artist terminates his or her distribution deal with BluJazz, it will take BluJazz four to six months to accommodate returns of unsold CDs and final payment for all CDs sold which is a variable of the normal time frame of the retail deletion and recall systems that are standard in the music industry.
